Our Services

Matter of Care Home Health Services offers high-quality care to residents of New York City, as well as Nassau and Westchester counties. Our goal is to focus on the individual person’s needs while easing the stress of their loved ones.

Nursing Services

Matter of Care’s licensed nurses deliver personalized clinical care in the comfort of your own home. Whether you need help recovering after a procedure, staying on track with medications, or monitoring and managing a chronic condition, we focus on protecting your safety and offering high quality health services.

Companion/Homemaker Services

Our companion/homemaker services provide friendly presence and practical help that makes daily life easier. Our caregivers can assist with light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, errands, and grocery shopping, along with companionship and assistance with routines and daily living activities.

Physical and Occupational Therapies

In-home physical and occupational therapies help individuals rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence while practicing activities of daily living and skills in their own environment. Our dedicated, compassionate, licensed therapists create personalized treatment plans to support recovery after injury, surgery, or illness.

Physical Therapists work with you on balance, walking, getting in and out of bed/chair, pain management strategies, and safe movement throughout the home.

Occupational Therapists focus on everyday activities, which include, but are not limited to, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and other household tasks, and may recommend adaptive equipment or simple home modifications to reduce fall risk and improve independence.

Together, these services help individuals reach functional goals safely and comfortably at home.

Medical Social Services

Matter of Care’s medical social services provide guidance to help individuals and their families navigate the physical and emotional challenges that may come with illness, injury, or aging at home. We assess needs, connect you with community resources, and support planning for ongoing care. Depending on your needs, services may also include identifying transportation or meal resources and assisting with advance care planning when appropriate. Medical social services also involve counseling and caregiver support, helping families communicate effectively, cope with change, and make informed decisions that align with individual goals.
